DU degree is no more a cakewalk!!
soaring cutoffs, strict attendance norms are multiple hurdles to get DU degree
by Meenakshi Chaudhary

Every year lakhs of students aspire to get admission in Delhi University which stands at 133 position in world universities rankings. The university offers courses in medicine, law, commerce, management, engineering, various vocational and academic programmes at undergraduate,post-graduate and doctorate level  which promises to offer a flourishing career.

However, the admission criteria and eligibility norms gets tougher day-by-day as being a central university located in the national capital territory, students from various parts of the country aspire to become DU graduates. This year Sri Ram College of commerce (SRCC) breaks all records by setting it's cutoff to 100% for B.Com(honors) and Eco(honors).so,getting admission in the prestigious college of DU is like a dream come true for every student.

The university has set a benchmark by acquiring number one position in the Indian Universities rankings because of it's standardized curriculum, scholarly and efficient faculties and strict regulations. As the university has shown the doors to 350  students who did not make the minimum 40% attendance marks, such students will be required to take fresh admissions next year by completing with students possessing higher percentage. This is a huge setback for the DU degree aspirants.

so,DU is synonymous to perseverance, punctuality and dedication as the  aspirants can become DU graduates only if they will work hard to get higher scores at school level and then pursue the academics with dedication and punctuality in order to become DU graduates.
